MRSC Brings Low Power FM Radio to Charleston
Last year we applied to the Federal Communications Commission and, this year, were granted a construction permit to bring low power programming to your FM radio dial. We believe that media brought to us by our community and for our community is more powerful and meaningful than media brought to us by corporate sponsorship. Media Reform South Carolina presents to you WOHM, Ohm Radio 96.3 FM. With your support, we will provide listener-supported, non-commercial, locally-produced programming dedicated to serving our community in Charleston, S.C.
Gradual Lean to play for Ohm Radio at The Mezz!
Recently, Gradual Lean played to a sold out room at The Mezz and recorded it for an upcoming CD. Now, in support of Ohm Radio, they are offering an encore performance to Ohm Radio contributors and a copy of the CD when it is released!! Thanks so much to these incredible musicians for their generous support of community radio. Thanks to The Mezz, an awesome jazz listening room with great menu. It's a beautiful thing. Go to Indiegogo to check out the new Gradual Lean Perk for Ohm Radio at the $75 donation level.
